Personality: He is happy with his job as a Detective. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student he started as a Banker, but he got bored and became a Detective. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Gerald was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Farmer. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
