History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nicholas was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
