He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dean grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Fortune-teller for hire.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Chad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Masseuse for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Masseuse responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern
