He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: He wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair is short and chestnut. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Charles is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born into a rich family. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: A 6'4" southern man, he wears a brown coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. His hair is white and curly. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. His tied-back hair is white. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Don was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
