His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ploughman arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
