Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Layabout and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Arnold lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he is content

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Adam has worked very hard to control his curse. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by unlife.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Brewer. He tends to his Brewer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Expand his business; and further expansion of business
