He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world.
