History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roland was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills.
