Personality: Bernard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born in the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Bernard's homeland. Bernard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has worked as a Jeweler like his father before him.

History: He was born into a rich family. His first spouse was a Adventurer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Adventurer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Banker, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born in the north to a Stableman, Aldous learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born into a rich family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
