Personal [hide]
Description: He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He carries a battered mace and tarnished sword as well. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His eyes are blue.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his youth he was a Shoemaker, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Reynard Rutherford, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his scythe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He keeps his black hair in a flapper bob. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Reynard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Reynard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Reynard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and wants to raise his children well
