History: Shane was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shane fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

History: Born in the west to a Server, Balimaar learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. After a long history of fighting, Balimaar and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a shepherd and was forced into it by his family

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Simon reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Simon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
