Dustin Nibley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he wears just a pastel suit. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. His eyes are amber and catlike.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Dustin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Dustin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Dustin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he's repulsed by the pc

Manfred Thornton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a green shirt with thin yellow vertical stripes and white pants. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Manfred was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Manfred took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He bought a pickaxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.
