Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears blue leather gloves, a blue jacket, and tight pants. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are hazel and catlike.
Personality: He is a Dilettante first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Gunter is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Gunter liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to be a barkeep again

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: He wears a red vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His blue leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his red boots flare out at the collars, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. His ears are large.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. After coming to the age of reason, Bertram took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He dresses well, wearing yellow shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His silver hair and beard is wavy and long. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Shane was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He carries with him a set of rapiers on his belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. He has moderate length brown hair. His eyes are a pleasant blue.
Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.
History: He was raised in a island tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Aldous took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. After a long history of fighting, Aldous and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
