History: Gerard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Roger was born the youngest of three triplets. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a roofer and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: The child of a Map Maker, who enjoyed hunting, Dean was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dean was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Actor born in the past three hundred years. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Lance was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
