Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Lance is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Lance was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Scribe. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Lance has worked very hard to control his curse. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a violet vest and prefers brown and blue shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He is typically in his Fortune-teller uniform. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He has shaved his head bald. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Anselm lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

His hair is black and very short. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
