History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Description: He is a husky man, who wears a tattered pair of loose brown pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Charles began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Charles was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
