History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gilbert's homeland. Gilbert decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Tim was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Tim's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
