History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Nicholas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and retire the richest man in the east

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter.
