Personality: Bertram is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Cartwright. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Roger was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: Expand his business; and a deep hatred of brigands

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
