History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has achieved small success as a Carter.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Layabout father left him crippled. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born in a small island village. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and to protect his home

Description: He stands about 6'3" and wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair is silver and very short. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
