History: Gifted from a young age, Roland studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. He tends to his Doctor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born in a small plains village. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Adventurer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and someone believes him a fraud

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
