History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and retire the richest man in the north

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugh embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His first spouse was a Detective, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He struck the Beggar job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 20. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is a great chef.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Justin never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and money/treasure
