Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the east to a Miner, Chad learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he wants to get laid

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mercenary born in the past three hundred years. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new mercenary responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born into a rich family. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult
