One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep violet leather and dull pastel iron scale mail. His hair is blonde, silky, and of moderate length. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Don and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He got into the Healer business at a young age. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Healer. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
