Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gerard will drive conversation. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He got into the Barkeep business at a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's also a talented Miner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barkeep responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and to find somewhere to settle down
