Jocelyn Marley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
Ideals: Athletic. Flaws: Cynical, Antagonistic. Bonds: Slave, Religious. Occupation: Sailor
Voice: Switch between two voices

Personal [hide]
Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
