History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Guard; and to end his boredom

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Heward is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents enrolled him in a Cleric school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: William was born the youngest of three triplets. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Cory hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and revenge
