Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.
History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He feeds upon the attention of others.
History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His golden hair is thinning but still full. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerald grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The war was a terrible time for him, and Miles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Miles was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle

He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
