Through the years after Bernard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bernard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Knight for the past few years.
