History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Gerard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Richard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Priest work with an outfit from a few towns over. Priest work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Priest.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
