Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balimaar embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Balimaar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he has a crush on the local animal trainer

Description: This southern man wears an entirely black suit with tan socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is long and silver with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Henry is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Barber and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'3" and likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is a Spy first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spy responsibilities is difficult.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and his religion dominates his actions
