Gilbert Marley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is renowned for his bright violet suits and hats. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: Born in the east to a Fortune-teller, Gilbert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Fortune-teller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and expand his business
Ideals: Impeccable, Logical. Flaws: Insomniac. Bonds: Immigrant, Job, Poor. Occupation: Fortune-teller
Voice: Sensual and smooth

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

Trym Tinley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many tan ritualistic tattoos. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He wears a deerstalker hat to hide his balding. He has amber eyes.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: Trym was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Trym abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Hugh Reed, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is lean but muscular and is dressed in a clean white cloak covering his clean studded leather. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
Ideals: Optimist, Gifted. Flaws: Ugly, Insane, Disease. Occupation: Shoemaker
Voice: pre-pubescent

William Nibley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A moderately attractive man, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: William is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. William fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
