History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Born to a Shipwright, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: An older man who typically wears white cloth garments or leather armor, he is not a threatening figure. His tied-back hair is white. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Alexandre was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Alexandre was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Patrick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Patrick's homeland. Patrick decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
