History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Hugh and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
