Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His black hair is heavily combed to the right. This green eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Randal embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Butcher responsibilities is difficult; and he is content

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears dark leathers with embroidery. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Fortune-teller profession.
History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has worked as a Painter like his mother before him.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by his family; and balancing his hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult

Description: This man is very fat, and is renowned for his bright black suits and hats. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He has the majority of his body covered in plate. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He found a children's book about a Human Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and money/treasure
