Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bertram's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: 5'8" and muscular, this eastern man dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.
Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: Reynard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He found a children's book about a Human Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing pastel cape and mantle trimmed with soft violet waves gently in the breeze. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His brown hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Carter who has hired him part-time. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Don was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Don alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and money/treasure

Personality: Percival hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.
Personality: Peter is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is wracked by social anxiety
