History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. Now he works as a dancing tutor during his time off.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Diggory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Diggory and his spouse have recently divorced.
