Through the years after Lewis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Lewis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Lewis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: John hails from a village terrorized by drow. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
