He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Servant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Locksmith, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has never given up on his singing dream.
