Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Raymond hails from a village terrorized by drow. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Raymond was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.
