History: Born in the east to a Blacksmith, Bernard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Blacksmith. Recently the stress of being a Blacksmith has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
