History: Anselm lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nicholas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, his father struggled to pay the bills. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

History: Arnold was born with his mother's beautiful face. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to reunite with his absent mother
