History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a shoemaker and was forced into it by his family

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Geoffrey lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital.
