Aldous's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Simon hails from a village terrorized by drow. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Junk Dealer. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He got into the Tanner business at a young age. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He struck the Mayor job and began his own company from there.
