History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Trym was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Engraver. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
