Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by giants. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
