History: Hunter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He wears a deerstalker hat to cover his moderate length silver hair. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Dyer. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born in the west to a Dyer, Heward learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miller but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and to share knowledge with the world
