Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'10" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He found a children's book about a Human Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Jocelyn enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is greedy
