History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Everard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with his old friends

History: He was born in the south. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Cory has worked very hard to control his curse. He's also a talented Sculptor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Sculptor again.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents enrolled him in a Ranger school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and wishes to resurrect an old love
