History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. John took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and retire the richest man in the east

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Ralf was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Miner, and he later adopted a second son.
